Last Monday was one of my most productive Mondays in months.

In under 4 hours, I finished work that usually takes me a whole week. (And sometimes even that isn’t enough.)

What’s wild is—I didn’t have to do it.

I just wanted to.
So much so that I couldn’t stop myself from opening my laptop and diving in.
No resistance. No procrastination. Just a full-body yes.

And here’s the kicker:
It wasn’t some exciting new project (which usually gets me fired up).
It was the same weekly grind I do to grow my business, serve my clients, and write to you.

So what made it different this time?

Simple.
I had the perfect vacation.

🏝️ I was on an island, right by the water.
🪵 I split wood and did heavy lifting—tired my body, gave my mind a break.
🌲 I barely touched my phone because… trees. Enough said.

I rested. I recovered. And I came back with so much energy, I literally thought:
“I want to work!”

Rest is a Business Process.

But most of us forget that.

We’re wired into hustle culture.
We pull all-nighters. We work weekends. We say no to rest, to people we love, all for a “quick sprint” to the future we’re chasing.

But here’s the problem:
The sprint never ends.
Your goals grow as you do. So you never arrive.

You just keep grinding… chasing… waiting for the future you’re too exhausted to enjoy when it finally shows up.

I caught myself in that trap lately.

Always saying I was busy.
Telling myself it was temporary—“Just until I get settled in this new country. Just until my business is stable again.”

But that temporary hustle became a permanent way of life.
And the more I worked, the less I knew how to rest.
I forgot how to just be… how to enjoy time off.
All I knew was how to stay busy.

So I made a plan.
I designed my month to get everything done in 3 weeks—and take the 4th completely off.

And guess what?
I did it.

Not perfectly, of course.
This "rest week"? It turned into the most packed week of calls, podcasts, and summits I’ve had all month 🤦‍♀️
Totally forgot to protect my calendar.

But that’s okay. Because next month?
May 5–11 is already blocked.
No calls. No bookings. Just rest.

And I know my clients will thank me for it—because when I come back, I’ll be energized, clear, and ready to serve at a whole new level.

I’m technically working this week.
In fact, I’m writing this newsletter just before hitting send—because I forgot to write it earlier.
But it doesn’t feel like work.

Because I’ve already done most of what matters.
I have space. I’m not rushing. And I’m writing this from a full tank of energy.

And I want that for you, too.
