One day, I’ll follow my dream schedule.

I’ll work:

  • 4 days per week
  • 3 weeks per month
  • 3 months per quarter (taking off the 4th month)
  • 4 years of work (taking off the 5th year)

This didn't come out of nowhere. I am a big fan of Dr. Benjamin Hardy's work, and this schedule was one of his suggestions, that I came across roughly 2 years ago.

“Resting is your business process.”

For the first time in two years since setting this goal, I actually did the math:

  • One working year:
    • 4 days/week × 3 weeks = 12 days/month
    • 12 days/month × 3 months = 36 days/quarter
    • 36 days/quarter × 4 quarters = 144 days/year
  • Over 5 years:
    • 144 days/year × 4 years = 576 total days
    • 576 days ÷ 5 years = 115.2 working days per year on average

Seems unbelievable… Really.

Moreover, Dr. Hardy suggests 2Xing your results every quarter... Well, he does it. And if I look back at my life, the results of my clients - it is possible and real. Your eyes first think it's scary... then it's your new norm, like it has always been there.

So since I learned about this schedule, I did manage to have a 4-day workweek. Taking the 4th week off each month?... eh... That worked halfway, but it was in progress.

Then I moved to the USA... Working again 24/7 🤣. Ok, I did have a legitimate reason to do so with starting my life and business all over again. But then I caught myself answering "I was busy" to almost all the questions from friends "How was your week?".

Life is not about being busy.

It is about enjoying what you do.
Doing what you love.
Saying Yes to things that you want, and being able to afford it (money-wise, time-wise, mindset-wise).

It is hard to break the pattern of being busy, once you get into the habit. It is especially hard to do it in the country with a hustle culture, where you are frowned upon, or simply not understood, when to a question "What did you do?" you will answer "Nothing".

But I know what I want. I want to live rather than work. Even though I LOOOOOVE my work. I just want to expand myself to more than work only.

For now, I’m on a personal mission to work less, enjoy life more, and still achieve everything I desire.

Luckily, my work is all about that - matching your most important work to your most productive times.

⚡️Energy insight: allow yourself to work only 1 hour per day.

Sounds counterintuitive, but if you are struggling with making yourself sit at the table and do that dreadful task, you've been snoozing for so long... Allow yourself not to work :) Really.

Punishing yourself for not doing something actually takes away your energy. Allow yourself only to work for 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, an hour, two. Whatever feels achievable to you right now.

Set a timer. Do as much as you can in a given time. Stop once the timer goes off.

No judgement. No pressure. Whatever you can make happen in this time frame - you did well.

Then tomorrow do the same.

And see what happens in a week ;) I promise you, you will have miracles :)
