Hey dear,

I used to think I was just bad at pushing through.
Too sensitive. Not focused enough.

Lazy, even.

But that wasn’t the truth.

I wasn’t lazy. I was emotionally empty.

All the “try harder” energy tips? 🥴
They couldn’t reach me.
Because it wasn’t a discipline issue.

It was emotional depletion.

And the signs were there — the same ones I hear from my clients every week:

✨ “I’m productive at work, but when I get home I have nothing left.”
✨ “I want to play with my kids, but I’m too drained.”
✨ “I keep saying ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’… but when tomorrow comes, I still don’t have the energy.”

Once you catch yourself emotionally unstable, pause. Take a deep breath. Breathe out by letting air slowly exit you. No pushing.

Just under 15 seconds you will feel more centered. It won't make you emotionally full. But it will definitely give your calmness for a while.
